OAK HARBOR - A man was killed Tuesday morning when two tractor-trailer rigs collided on State Rt. 2, closing the road in both directions near State Rt. 19, about seven miles north of the village, authorities said.
The name of the victim was not released.
The crash occurred about 9 a.m. in Ottawa County's Carroll Township. The crash caused one of the rigs to catch fire, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol's Sandusky post.
Oak Harbor is about 25 miles southeast of Toledo.
