In observance of the Christmas holiday, the city offices of Toledo are closed today, tomorrow, and Friday. Maumee, Oregon, Northwood, Perrysburg, Rossford, and Sylvania city offices are closed today and tomorrow. Ottawa Hills village offices will close from noon today through tomorrow.
Lucas County offices are closed today and tomorrow. Auto title offices will be closed from noon today through tomorrow. State offices are open today but closed tomorrow. The federal courthouse in Toledo is closed tomorrow and Friday.
A list of select services follows:
All banks, financial institutions, and banking centers and bank marts will be closed tomorrow. Most banks will close today at 2 p.m., while Huntington National Bank branches will close at 2:30 p.m. and State Bank and Trust in Perrysburg will close at noon.
Malls and shopping centers will close at 5 or 6 p.m. today and be closed tomorrow. Some individual stores are open later. Movie theaters in the malls may remain open.
Columbia Gas phone center will be open until 12:15 p.m. today, but will be closed tomorrow except for emergencies.
Toledo Edison customer service will be closed today and tomorrow. Only emergency calls will be taken.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and branches will be closed today and tomorrow.
Most Toledo post offices will close at noon today. There will no window services and the last mail collection will be at noon. The Oregon branch will be open regular hours today.
There will be no mail delivery or collection tomorrow, and no window services at the Main Post Office or any classified station or branch.
Express Mail Service will be available tomorrow, but the Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit will be closed.
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a holiday schedule on Christmas Day.
Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free tomorrow.
In Toledo and outlying areas, there will be no trash collection or recycling tomorrow; regular Thursday pickups will be made Friday, and Friday pickups on Saturday.
