The Ohio Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio will hold a free community concert promoting Parkinson's Disease Awareness at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Commodore Building, 140 East Indiana Ave., Perrysburg.
Three musicians are donating their time and talents to support the Foundation.
Tim Mauer, a flutist who is a graduate of Whitmer High School and who attended Ohio State University on a full scholarship, is presenting a special concert in honor of his sister, Kelly Maurer.
Ms. Maurer, a Perrysburg resident, was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 33.
Mr. Maurer will be joined by Sean Ferguson, a guitarist, and Lynn Roseberry, a soprano.
