Walk is for awareness of eating disorders

The National Eating Disorders Association kicks off it's first annual NEDA Walk for the Toledo area.

The walk will be held Sunday at Olander Park in Sylvania, with registration at 9:30 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m.

Proceeds will support critical programs and services that work to eliminate eating disorders and improve prevention, treatment and research.

Eating disorders are potentially life-threatening illnesses that afflict more than 11 million Americans.
