Central Catholic names McGurk varsity girls basketball coach

BLADE STAFF

Central Catholic High School has named Marty McGurk the new girls varsity basketball coach. McGurk has been a social studies teacher and assistant varsity coach at CCHS since 1995.

Previously, McGurk was the head girls' basketball coach at Springfield High School from 1988 to 1995, and the head coach at Notre Dame Academy from 1983 to 1988. At Notre Dame he won five Blue Division titles and one district title.
