The Ottawa Hills boys and Toledo Christian girls each repeated their team titles Saturday in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference cross country championship meet at Maumee Bay State Park.
Led by the 1-2-3 individual finishes of sophomores Brett Hanson (17:46.41) and Tommy Rudolph, and junior Andy King, the winning Green Bear boys posted 26 team points to beat runner-up Toledo Christian by eight points in the boys race.
The Toledo Christian girls were paced by the 2-3-4 bunching of sophomore Dalainey Phelps (20:50.60) and juniors Krista Wood and Michelle Wright in scoring 21 team points to easily outdistance the Ottawa Hills and Danbury girls, who tied at 52.
Senior Mackenzie Denner of Emmanuel Christian ran the 5,000-meter course in 20:36.19 to win the girls individual title.
