The following are dogs newly available for adoption at the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office, 410 South Erie St. Listed are its name, breed, sex, and impound number.

Newly available dogs include:

‘Brenda,' female terrier mix, 2047

‘Shilah,' female Boxer mix, 2003

‘Daisy,' female Basset Hound mix, 7036

‘Bonnie,' female Beagle mix, 7028

‘Bella,' female, Border Collie mix, 2014

‘Tammy,' female Shepherd mix, 2006

‘Clyde,' male beagle, 7026

Dogs killed Dec. 23 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge:

German shepherd/Retriever mix, orange female named Merry, seized Nov. 19 on North Holland-Sylvania in Sylvania for having no license. She was later transferred to Toledo Area Humane Society where she failed two behavior tests — food test and dog-to-dog test — and was returned to the dog pound, where she was killed by lethal injection.

“Pit bull,” white/orange male, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs; Valentine, Toledo, running at large.

German shepherd/Rottweiler mix, black/orange male, “failed behavior evaluation,” Elder, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, black/white male, aggressive, bite attempt; Indian Wood Circle, Maumee.

“Pit bull,” white/tan/gray male, “fearful/unsafe,” Vermaas, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” black/white female, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs; Charles, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” black/white female, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs; Brussels, Toledo, running at large.
