Man, 27, arraigned on dog fighting charges
A 27-year-old man charged with dog fighting was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Tuesday morning.
Raymond Dean is being held in the Lucas County Jail on a $30,000 bond, $10,000 for each of three charges — having weapons under disability, inducing panic, and dog fighting.
Mr. Dean was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of Streicher Street as he was seen walking away from a “large disturbance” where shots were fired, according to police.
According to court records, dogs and dog fighting equipment were seized from the property.
