Woman identified in central city death

The woman found dead inside a central city home this morning has been identified as Jazmon Hoskins.

At 10:28 a.m., police received a call from a man who identified himself as Thomas Ellison, Jr., who told dispatchers he killed his girlfriend, said police Sgt. Joe Heffernan. The caller gave police an address on Parkwood Avenue, but that initial address turned out to be a wrong number. Police have issued a warrant for him charging him with murder.

Police are still searching for Mr. Ellison, so he can be questioned. Police have not yet said how Ms. Hoskins, 21, died or where in the house she was found.

The suspect may be driving a 2012 gray Ford Focus. Those with information in the case are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
