Arson suspected in East Toledo apartment building fire

An arson investigator has been called to an overnight fire in East Toledo.

Firefighters called at 2:59 a.m. to 1401 Greenwood Ave. found heavy fire upon arrival. About 25 firefighters remained on the scene an hour later.

The building is a two-story, four-unit apartment building constructed in 1912 and owned by Jeffrey M. and Rebecca L. Uchic of Maumee, according to the Lucas County auditor's Web site.
