Toledo Magazine: History of Mail Delivery

In the early days, horses hauled the packages and letters across the frontier, taking months to reach their destination. Then it was carried on the rails, which in the 1950s meant 49 mail-carrying trains rolling in and out of Toledo each day. Having a Blast: Women Learn to Shoot

Cleland's Outdoor World has been hosting Ladies Night classes for more than a decade, combining instruction and target practice. The 30 minutes of instruction focuses on gun safety, what it takes to shoot a gun, and trigger control. On the range, women practice with everything from a .22-caliber revolver, the simplest to use, to more complex guns such as semi-automatic pistols.
