Returning starters: Offense 4, defense 8

Schemes: Double wing; AB set/4-2-5

Top players: Seniors Trey Loescher, 5-10, 190 RB/DB; Andrew Dennis, 6-1, 170, QB/DB; Quinn Donaldson, 6-0, 180, RB/DB; Trent Waters, 5-5, 150, RB/LB; Devin Allen 6-0, 240, OL/DL. Juniors T.J. Jacobs, 6-1, 225, OL/DL; Jacob Keller, 6-1, 240, OL/DL. Sophomores Ryan Emans, 6-0, 170, WR/DB.

Outlook: The Bobcats look to rebound with 44 players, including 12 seniors.

Donaldson finished with 567 yards on 122 carries (4.6 per rush) to earn All-NLL honorable mention.

Waters earned honorable mention as a linebacker.

Aungst, who has a record of 8-12 in two seasons, said it is the strongest offensive and defensive lines that the program has had in years.

"We have a great group of leaders on the team who have worked hard during the off season," Aungst said.

Dennis completed 46 of 136 passes for 778 yards and eight scores last year.

"Our passing game will improve this year," Aungst said.

But only one starters is back on the offensive line.

"We must develop and mature up front to get our offense going in the right direction," Aungst said. "On defense we must continue to work on stopping the run."

The Bobcats, who are seeking their first NLL title since 2000, have to avoid injuries.

"We must stay healthy in all positions this year to be able to compete in the NLL," Aungst said.
