Interfaith prayer vigils will be held tomorrow in memory of a central-city teenager and an elderly West Toledo couple who died in separate shootings.
The first vigil is for Jerome Morgan, 16, who was shot May 12 near Ambia Street and Lawrence Avenue. The vigil will be at the intersection near where he was shot. Young Morgan died May 13 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
The second vigil is for Dean and Eileen Lashbrook, found dead May 11 in an apparent murder-suicide. Their vigil will be held at their home, 3205 Orchard Trail Rd., where Mr. Lashbrook, 77, shot his 74-year-old wife in their car, then turned the gun on himself.
