President of Cooper Tire, Therma-Tru CEO named

Findlay-based Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has promoted D. Richard Stephens to president of Cooper Tire from president of the international tire division.

Carl Hedlund has been named chief executive officer and a board member of Therma-Tru Doors of Maumee. He has been the company's president and chief operating officer for about a year.

Industrial Fluid Management, Inc, Defiance, a subsidiary of Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., an architectural, engineering and design firm based in Bowling Green, has promoted Richard J. Bennett to president from general manager.

Clifford C. Cook has been promoted to senior vice president, supply, distribution, and planning, Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC, Findlay, from vice president, supply, distribution and planning.

Hart Associates, of Maumee, a marketing and communications firm, received a gold award in the Corporate Identification Graphics category and a silver in the Total Communications Program from the Detroit chapter of the Business Marketing Association. The awards, in a competition among firms in Michigan, Indiana, and northern Ohio, were for work done for Metaldyne Corp., an automotive supplier.
