FBI seeks information on gunman who robbed Sylvania Twp. bank

The FBI is seeking information about the gunman who robbed a KeyBank branch in Sylvania Township on Tuesday while wearing dark theatrical makeup, a brown plastic nose, and a black wig. He fled on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of money.

About noon, the man rode to up the bank, 5756 West Central Ave., on a red and white bicycle and walked inside with a semiautomatic pistol. The bank had four customers and five employees inside when he ordered them to the floor.

He pointed the gun at the head of a teller and demanded that money put in a bag he was carrying.

He was described as being white, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He had a slim build and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with black cargo pants.
