TIFFIN - A Cleveland-area man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he helped rob a Tiffin jewelry store last year.

Selvin Cunningham, 42, of Parma Heights plans to represent himself at trial on charges of breaking and entering, grand theft, grand theft of a motor vehicle, possessing criminal tools, vandalism and failure to comply with a signal of a police officer. He entered his plea Wednesday in Seneca County Common Pleas Court.

Two other men have been sentenced for their role in the Nov. 16 burglary at Jeffrey Jewelry. Roscoe Boyd, 36, is serving 41/2 years, and William Sims, 19, is serving four years.
