Convicted sex offender Harry Wright was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury for assaulting a 7-year-old girl near a West Toledo park.
Wright, 23, of 5117 Secor Rd.,was indicted by the grand jury on one count each of rape, kidnapping, and gross sexual imposition. A registered sexual predator, he is accused of raping the girl in the presence of her two foster siblings near Pine Glen Park in the 4200 block of Secor.
Police arrested Wright later that day. He is being held in the Lucas County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
Wright also was indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition for unrelated incidents, including the assault of a 16-year-old girl in the Elmhurst Road-Westbrook Drive area.
Wright was paroled from prison April 3 after serving nearly four years on a gross-sexual imposition conviction involving a 3-year-old girl.
