Cleveland man charged with money-gram fraud

ADRIAN - A Cleveland man was arraigned in Lenawee County District Court yesterday on charges that he altered a money gram, an electronic money order transfer.

Cyrus Oliver Ganaway, 19, is in the Lenawee County jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

Deputies said that he altered a $1 money gram to read $1,700 and then cashed it at a Madison Township business. He faces charges of forgery and uttering and publishing for the July 30 offense.
