Libbey, Inc., expects earnings of $2.20 to $2.30 a share this year, up from $1.82 a share in 2002, shareholders were told during an annual meeting in downtown Toledo yesterday.
Annual sales should be $520 million to $525 million, the company announced. For the second quarter, meanwhile, sales are expected to be $130 million to $135 million and earnings, 60 cents to 70 cents a share.
Also yesterday, Libbey's board declared a quarterly cash dividend of 10 cents a share, payable May 28 to shareholders of record as of May 15.
