A grid of downtown Toledo streets will close at 6:30 a.m. today for the Labor Day Parade, city officials announced.
Summit Street will be closed between Clayton and Jackson streets. Monroe, Washington, Jefferson, and Adams streets will be closed east of Erie Street, while Superior, St. Clair, and Huron streets will be closed between Washington and Jackson streets.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. from Summit and Monroe and proceed north to Adams, west to Huron, and south to Huron and Monroe. The streets are expected to reopen to traffic around noon.
