Cedar Fair LP yesterday said it has completed its purchase of Six Flags Worlds of Adventure near Cleveland. The deal, first announced a month ago, is worth $145 million.
The parent company of Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky was to assume control today of the 690-acre theme park and a nearby hotel and campground. The Geauga Lake amusement park, in Aurora, Ohio is to open May 1.
