Bellevue man to serve 4 years for break-in

FREMONT - A Sandusky County man has been sentenced to four years in prison for breaking into a home on County Road 191 in York Township Dec. 5 and taking a safe full of cash.

Daniel Wright, 25, of Bellevue, was sentenced Monday by Judge Harry Sargeant, Jr., of Sandusky County Common Pleas Court. Wright was given a four-year term for burglary and a concurrent one-year sentence for tampering with evidence. He was ordered to make $16,100 in restitution.

Charges of theft and safecracking were dismissed.
