Man in Bowling Green court charged with 5th DUI

BOWLING GREEN A Hamilton, Ohio, man charged with his fifth drunken-driving charge is to be back in Bowling Green Municipal Court tomorrow.

Donald J. Leifheit, 35, pleaded no contest last Friday to the charge but then asked for an attorney so that he could review his plea. A hearing has been set for 8:30 a.m.

Mr. Leifheit was arrested by the Ohio Highway Patrol just after 9 p.m. Thursday on northbound I-75 near Bowling Green. Troopers said he was observed following other vehicles too closely and failing to drive in marked lanes.

At the Bowling Green police department, Mr. Leifheit s blood-alcohol level registered 0.138 percent, troopers said. The legal limit is 0.8 percent.
