Area man gets 16 months for 6th DUI conviction

BRYAN - A 35-year-old Williams County man was sentenced this week to 16 months in prison for his sixth drunk driving conviction in 14 years.

Nathan H. Dalton, of Kunkle, Ohio, also was fined $800 and his driver's license was suspended for three years when he appeared in Williams County Common Pleas Court.

Dalton, who is unemployed, did not have a valid license when he was last arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, authorities said.

All of Dalton's convictions were in Williams County: one in 1999, two in 1997, and one each in 1991 and 1994.
