The 30 flag poles that dot the boat basin in International Park along the Maumee River are flag less, but they won t be for long.
The poles, which typically fly the flags of various countries, are awaiting a new set to get them through the year, said Mary Chris Skeldon, public information officer for Mayor Jack Ford.
Toledo s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry replaces the flags annually due to wear and tear, and the new flags should be installed by the end of the week.
