A 24-year-old woman on trial for raping a 5-year-old girl and sending a photo of the sexual assault and another nude photo of the child to a man on the Internet was found guilty this morning in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Elissa Schuster, of 7240 Nightengale Drive, Holland, was found guilty of rape, pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. The jury deliberated about eights hour over two days before reaching the verdicts.

Judge Ruth Ann Franks scheduled sentencing for Sept. 2, and under law must sentence Schuster to life in prison for the rape of the child, who was 4-years-old when the incident occurred last August.
