Sylvania builder seeks bankruptcy liquidation

A Sylvania builder of luxury homes has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation, listing debts of $1.9 million and assets of $55,000.

Nicholas Custom Homes, 5932 Jeffrey Lane, filed the petition yesterday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Toledo, listing a number of unfinished projects and 31 pages of creditors. The largest unsecured creditor is SBMRK Investments LLC of Toledo, owed $240,000, and the largest secured creditor is Sky Bank, owed $250,000. An attorney for the company could not be reached for comment.
