Manor Care Inc., one of the nation's largest nursing home operators, said yesterday it has repurchased 2.6 percent of its stock for $100 million.
The downtown Toledo firm has authorization to buy back an additional $170 million in its stock, which it expects to do by December, 2007. Its shares closed up 33 cents at $46.86 in trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
