MARION, Ohio A Kenton teen who attacked two guards and escaped from the North Central Ohio Rehabilitation Center in Marion last month was sentenced yesterday to four years in prison.

John Morrissey III, 15, was charged as an adult in Marion County Common Pleas Court, where he was sentenced for his convictions on escape, aggravated assault, assault, and vandalism charges.

Prosecutors said Morrissey and John Ohler, 16, of Sycamore, Ohio, hit and sprayed two guards with a fire extinguisher, stabbed them with pens, and fled out a window. Morrissey was picked up the next day walking along State Rt. 309 between Marion and Kenton.

Ohler previously was sentenced to two years in prison for escape and assault.
