Trial dates set in June 6 death of ex-Toledoan
FINDLAY - Jury trials were scheduled yesterday for two brothers charged in the June 6 shooting death of a former Toledo man.
Curtis Stevens, 21, of Decatur, Ga., is to go on trial in Hancock County Common Pleas Court Oct. 30 on charges of murder, felonious assault, and carrying a concealed weapon. Kendall Stevens, 23, of Findlay is go on trial Sept. 11 on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing justice.
The charges stem from the shooting of Reginald Watkins, 23, of Fostoria at a party at a Stadium Drive home. Police said Watkins got into an argument with Kendall Stevens, and Curtis Stevens pulled out a gun and shot him.
