WAUSEON - Kevin Knisely, a former carryout employee from Wauseon, was sentenced this week to 10 months in prison for gross sexual imposition for touching a girl in April.
Knisely, 35, originally charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition for allegedly touching two girls, pleaded guilty to one count. The Fulton County prosecutor's office agreed to dismiss the other count. Both girls were under age 13.
Knisely was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Fulton County Common Pleas Court. He was ordered to pay the prosecution costs and to register his address with the county sheriff as a sexually oriented offender for 10 years after his release.
He could have been sentenced to up to 18 months in prison and fined up to $5,000 for the offense, which is a fourth-degree felony.
Knisely remained in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio near Stryker last night.
