Grand jury charges man in brother s death

FREMONT Prosecutors yesterday presented a case to the Sandusky County grand jury involving a man accused of fatally shooting his brother.

Ulvar Davis, 52, was charged with attempted murder in the shooting of Lamar Lee, 43, of Fremont. But after his death from injuries last week, detectives said they would seek a murder charge.

Mr. Lee was shot in the face during an argument while they were moving furniture, Fremont police said.

Mr. Davis was being held in the Sandusky County jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
