Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner will give City Council his second State of the City speech in less than a year.
Mr. Finkbeiner will give the annual report to council next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Owens Corning World Headquarters Panther Hall. More than 2,700 invitations have been sent. Typically, State of the City speeches are given in January. Mr. Finkbeiner gave his previous State of the City speech Jan. 23.
In the past, the State of the City was a lot about what was done in the past year. This year the focus will be what s coming up in 2007, Brian Schwartz, the mayor s spokesman, said.
The mayor will present his vision and specific projects that the city will be working on in 2007, and December would be the opportune time to do that.
The public is invited, but reservations are required; call 419-245-1494.
