Rieter Automotive North America Inc. received a 55 percent, eight-year state tax credit yesterday to expand its Oregon factory and create 80 full-time jobs.
The auto supplier plans to renovate its current 150,000-square-foot factory, construct a 4,000-square-foot addition, and buy equipment as part of a $6 million investment. New jobs at the factory, which currently has 155 employees, will pay $12.82 an hour on average.
