Sex-sting culprit given 28 months

BRYAN - A 22-year-old Findlay man is going to prison for soliciting sex on the Internet from someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, but actually was a Williams County sheriff's deputy.

Brian L. Iliff was sentenced to 28 months in prison yesterday in Williams County Common Pleas Court.

He can apply for judicial release after 30 days, but Judge Craig Roth said he would not consider such an early out until after Iliff has served 18 months.

Iliff pleaded guilty in January to two counts of importuning for incidents in September.
