Ohio s Controlling Board yesterday approved requests for $3.2 million for Toledo s Regional Growth Partnership and $50,000 for Fostoria Ethanol LLC in Seneca County. The two were among several projects the board approved.
The growth partnership s funds are for expansion of the Northwest Ohio Entrepreneurial Center for Advanced Materials and for commercialization of food-manufacturing production.
Grants to the Fostoria firm are for machinery and equipment. That plant, to employ 41, is a $130 million project to produce 60 million gallons of fuel annually.
