WAUSEON - A Detroit truck driver was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury this week for aggravated vehicular homicide in the death of a rural Bryan man on U.S. 20 on June 14.

Duglass Cedrick Moore, 51, was booked into the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, Stryker, where he remained last night. He told his jailers he was employed by Chesney Trucking.

Last week, the semi that Mr. Moore drove crossed the centerline of U.S. 20 near Fayette in Fulton County and hit a car driven by Mark Lupton, 39, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol's Toledo post.

Mr. Lupton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr. Moore, initially was taken to the Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, and later flown to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where he was admitted in serious condition.

He was eastbound on U.S. 20, between county Roads 26 and 27 in Gorham Township, about 5:15 p.m. when the semi collided with Mr. Lupton's westbound car, troopers said.
