A West Toledo man who authorities said stabbed a man four times Sunday during an argument was arraigned yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.
Willie Hightower, 48, of 5553 Lewis Ave., who was charged with felonious assault, was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
Hightower and Ronald Hendrick, whose age was unavailable, of 736 Gramercy Ave., were with friends at an apartment in the 5500 block of Lewis Avenue about 3:25 a.m. when the two began to argue and Hightower stabbed Mr. Hendrick twice in the chest, once in the neck, and once in the back, police said.
Hightower left the scene and was arrested later. Mr. Hendrick was taken to Toledo Hospital, where a nursing supervisor said there was no patient by that name.
