AboutGolf Ltd., a Maumee company that makes golf simulator technology, plans to break ground in the second half of next year on a research and development facility in Ottawa Lake, Mich.
The company currently conducts research in space provided by the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake.
AboutGolf said it chose the Ottawa Lake site because of its proximity to both Maumee and to Ann Arbor, home of
PlayData Systems LLC, which makes 3-D machine technology used by AboutGolf.
