The morning sun glitters in the trees that still bear traces of the weekend s winter storm as it rises over the Anthony Wayne Bridge in downtown Toledo. In the background is the dome of Good Shepherd Parish, extending to a height of
280 feet. The church, dedicated in December, 1901, was built on one of the highest elevations in the city and is visible for miles in all directions.
