A noontime downtown Toledo concert series featuring a different style of music each week begins Thursday and continues on Thursdays through Aug. 28.
The series will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Levis Square at Madison Avenue and North St. Clair Street.
Food and beverage vendors will be on site, or lunchtime listeners can bring their own repast, said officials with the Downtown Toledo Improvement District, which organized the series.
The first group scheduled is Glass City Steel, a steel-drum/Caribbean music group.
Subsequent Thursdays will feature groups performing Latin, rock, blues, jazz, and pop.
