Mechanical problems with Toledo's new automated refuse-collection trucks caused recycling pickup to be missed yesterday in two neighborhoods, city officials announced.
The missed areas were in North Toledo, bounded by Galena, North Summit, Champlain, and Elm streets, and in East Toledo, bounded by Earl Street, Woodville Road, Ironwood Street, and the city limit.
Residents of those areas were asked to leave their recyclables bin at the curb, since pickups will be made today.
