3-day festival for the blues comes back to downtown Toledo
The Toledo Blues Festival is back.
After four years, the popular event will return to downtown Toledo July 18 through July 20, Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announced yesterday.
The three-day event will be held in Festival Park, next to the former COSI Toledo building.
The feature on the second evening will be Shirley King, who is the daughter of blues guitar great B.B. King.
There will be live music from 6 to 11 p.m. July 18; 2 to 11 p.m. July 19, and 2 to 8 p.m. July 20. Daily admission is $5.
