Ex-manager of Biaggi s to pay restitution in theft

BOWLING GREEN A former manager of Biaggi s Restaurant in Perrysburg was sentenced yesterday to three years of community control for stealing more than $5,000 from his employer.

Jason Levy, 27, of Rochester, N.Y., pleaded guilty last month to felony theft for stealing $5,124 from Biaggi s.

Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Alan Mayberry ordered him to perform 300 hours of community service in lieu of jail time, complete substance abuse counseling, and pay restitution and a $1,000 fine.

Prosecutors said Levy inappropriately processed gift cards and kept the money.
