A South Toledo man and woman accused of stealing more than $50,000 worth of building materials are free on bond, authorities said.
Roger Orange, 30, and Lisa Frye, 32, both of 1436 Walbridge Ave., were arrested Monday and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.
Toledo police burglary detectives received a tip regarding a break-in at a construction site near Larc Lane and Garden Lake Drive in South Toledo that occurred over the Thanksgiving weekend. Information from the investigation led police to the Walbridge address, where they served a search warrant about 1:45 p.m. Monday.
The items found in the garage included 16 new furnaces; air-conditioner coils, and 12 boxes of windows, shutters, tools, and office equipment. Police also found 10 car wash vacuum cleaners and five commercial air compressor units, a report said.
