One hurt in Ottawa County rollover crash


ELMORE, Ohio A 33-year-old man was in serious condition in a Toledo hospital Friday morning after he was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash the day before on State Rt. 105 in western Ottawa County, authorities said.

Clint Wagner, of State Rt. 168 between Benton Township and Harris Township, was listed in serious condition Friday morning at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesman.

The crash occurred about 3:20 p.m. Thursday west of State Rt. 590 in Harris Township, about three miles northeast of Elmore, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Mr. Wagner was driving a pickup truck east on Route 105 at milepost 6 when he drove off the north side of the road, causing the vehicle to strike the embankment and several trees before overturning, according to troopers at the patrol s Sandusky post.

Mr. Wagner was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said. The crash remained under investigation Friday.

Elmore is about 20 miles southeast of Toledo.
