Toledo police are reminding motorists of the risks of leaving running vehicles unattended.
Vehicle thefts increase during the winter months, Sgt. Paul Hickey said, when people warm up their cars before driving to work or leave them running during quick trips into stores.
Sergeant Hickey and the police department are urging people to "keep your keys to keep your car."
