A Lucas County grand jury indicted a Toledo man yesterday for the murder of his 74-year-old uncle, whose house he then set on fire.
Robert Parker, 42, of 1247 Hamilton St. was charged with murder and aggravated arson. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.
Mr. Parker is accused in the Sunday stabbing death of Donald Lee, who died of multiple stab wounds in the head and torso.
He is also charged in the arson fire at Mr. Lee s central city home in the Albertus Brown housing complex.
Toledo police said Mr. Parker confessed to the crimes. He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
