5 Findlay women indicted in robbery of bicyclist

FINDLAY Five Findlay women who allegedly assaulted and robbed a bicyclist on New Year s Eve were indicted Tuesday by a Hancock County grand jury on robbery charges.

Four of the women Brooke Robbins, 19; Kimberly Wise, 18; Autumn Mendoza, 20, and Heather Leisenring, 18 were arrested shortly after the incident by a state trooper. A fifth suspect, Tabatha McCoy, 19, who allegedly took part in the robbery but was not in the vehicle when the women were arrested, also was indicted.

They are accused of getting out of a vehicle, approaching Danny Amburgey, 37, and asking for money. When he refused, the women allegedly assaulted him and took his wallet.
