When officers went to the hotel room where the suspects were believed to be, Mr. Dahms allegedly jumped out of a second-floor window and fled. He was later arrested when police spotted him trying to hide in a car reportedly driven by Ms. Sherbrook. When the officer attempted to stop the car, he was nearly struck as the pair drove away. The car was stopped on southbound I-75, at which time Mr. Dahms and Ms. Sherbrook were arrested.
